Rabbit Rehabilitation
Rabbit Rehabilitation is a project that I started in September 2015.
I rescue rabbits that need help because they have been abused, have not been taken care of correctly, had been let loose in the wild, or their owner had surrendered them to me for whatever reason.
I work with every rabbit and help them become lovable, enjoyable, family-friendly pets. While each bunny is being rehabilitated, they have either a 2ft x 4ft x 2ft hutch, or a double decker hutch that is 2ft x 4ft x 2ft on each floor. Every rabbit gets supervised yard time, inside time, and handling time. They get proper diets, are litter-box trained, and learn how to be human friendly if they were not already.
After they are rehabilitated, I rehome them into a family that knows what they are getting into and is capable of caring for a bunny correctly forever.
Rabbits Currently in Rehabilitation
None at the moment! :)
When you adopt a rehab bunny, it will come with:
- A bag of transfer food
- A paper stating all of the information about the rabbit. If the rabbit has a pedigree, you will get that instead.
Do you know of a rabbit that needs rescuing, or have a bunny that you want to surrender? Age, sex, and breed do not matter. I don't ask questions or judge you. Just contact me please! I will let you know if I have anymore space available for another rehab rabbit.
If you are interested in adopting one of my rehab bunnies with the status "available", please check out my requirements.
