Before you adopt or buy any animal into your family, you need to consider a few things. For example, you may have enough money and time to care for the pet you want now, but what about in the future? Will you be able to afford the monthly/weekly things that your new pet will need forever? Do you have extra funds saved in case your pet needs an emergency trip to the vet? And what will you do with your pet when you go away for the weekend, go on a long vacation, or go off to college?
